R12 - How To Make A Personalized View Such As Bank Balance For All Users?

Do the following to make views visible for other users:

  1. Set the Personalize Self-Service Defn profile option to Yes for the functional sysadmin user.
  2. Set the FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled profile option to Minimal or Yes.
  3. Ensure the profile option Disable Self-Service Personal is not set to NO.
  4. Login as the functional sysadmin user and navigate to Project List
  5. Click on the Personalize link at the top of the page
  6. Click on the eye glasses icon in the Seeded User Views column (Table: Balances..)
  7. Create a new view or duplicate an existing one. Take care to provide values for all the required search criteria otherwise your query will fail. Optionally specify a securing function to indicate a subset of users who can access the newly seeded view. You can also mark a seeded view as the default view for all users. For this example, use the securing function of 'Balances'.
  8. Save the change
  9. Check if other users can now see the view.
10. Once the views are available to other users, then return the profile options to the values they were before the views were created.

If you have selected the Allow CIP Assets check box on the Book Controls window of a tax book when adding CIP assets using the Additions API, the this API automatically adds those CIP assets to that tax book at the same time that they are added to the corporate book. Adjustments API you can make cost adjustments to your assetsdirectly via PL/SQL using  FA_ADJUSTMENT_PUB.DO_ADJUSTMENT  for any  process adjustment.
